- Start with commute and lot size. Liberty and Kearney are Northland options on I-35, with Kearney trading commute minutes for land. Blue Springs and Lee's Summit are southeast on I-70 and US-50; Lee's Summit spans a wider price range and has a busier downtown. Walking two of them usually settles it faster than more research.
